Fear and Loathing in Cyrodil City
It’s been a funny time for me recently. I ran naked for about four hours — being chased by the local law enforcement for the first hour — because all my clothes and things got locked in a chest miles and miles away from where I was; I’ve been spending a lot of time sneaking around picking locks to break into people’s houses while they’re asleep; I got some sort of bite the other day and now I think I’ve contracted Porphyric Haemophilia, which I’m told can be quite nasty, potentially leading to me turning into a vampire unless can get it cured. I’m also off to jail shortly — don’t worry, I’ve not been caught — instead I’m going to sneak in through the sewers in order to murder someone at the express request of a group called the Dark Brotherhood.
I’ve also been to Hell and back, literally. Well, I say Hell, it was actually the hellish plane of Oblivion where I had to close the Oblivion Gate to stop all the demon spawned things from getting out into the world and causing havoc.
Yeah, I know, just the usual day at the office, eh?
No, I’m not going mad. I’ve just been playing Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion on the PC recently — for which there’s a screenshot floating about here somewhere — which I would thoroughly recommend to everyone as a bloody good game, if you like the RPG genre. I just hope they bring out some expansion packs for it soon…
Go on, buy it. You know you want to.
[...] Get in! I’ve completed the PC Game Oblivion this week, which I highly recommended in a post from September last year called Fear and Loathing in Cyrodil City. [...]
