Nerd-dom Meme
As spotted on aka R’acquel’s site, the question is, What Be Your Nerd Type? Aside from the fact that the construction “what be” makes it sound like it’s been put together by yokels, that sounds interesting…
Turns out I’m a literature nerd (closely followed by being a gamer/computer nerd). Presumably because one of the questions seemed to think that anyone who’s read sixty books in a lifetime reads a lot, and there’s me thinking “a lifetime? that’s barely a lunchtime!”.
(out of interest, does the fact that I’ve butchered the dog’s breakfast of code they gave me in order to make it more semantic and accessible give me any extra points on the ‘gamer/computer nerd’ scale? I really think it should…)
What Be Your Nerd Type?
You are a literature nerd
Does sitting by a nice cozy fire, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate, and a book you can read for hours even when your eyes grow red and dry and you look sort of scary sitting there with your insomniac appearance? Then you fit this category perfectly! You love the power of the written word and it’s eloquence; and you may like to read/write poetry or novels. You contribute to the smart people of today’s society, however you can probably be overly-critical of works. It’s okay. I understand.

I was a drama nerd, followed by a science/ math nerd. Yeah right.
I think perhaps it is aimed at kids. So sixty books in the life time of a teenager? Although a rather odd question when elsewhere it asked you if you read up to six books a month. If you read one book a month, you’d still have read sixty in five years (see, that’s obviously my math nerd coming through).
I’m a drama nerd too. It says I’m outgoing and LOUD!
I’M NOT LOUD I JUST LIKE TO MAKE SURE PEOPLE CAN HEAR ME PROPERLY!!!!!!!!!
mmm Lit nerd also, would have thought more Science/Math - although I suppose it never asked if any of my 5 books a month were technology books
Bonus points for turning regurtitated-pig’s-breakfast-eaten by-a-dog-who’s-just-poopped-it-out-of-it’s-ass code into something more accessible.
