Privateering
Tuesday, April 1, 2008 0:04 | Filed in Life, The Pickards
I will be changing jobs in May. I’m going to play with the privates. Yes, after 9 and a bit years working in the public sector local authority environment for mumble mumble, I’m going off to join the jolly crew over at mumble mumble mumble.
It’s one of those things where my emotions are mixed sadness and excitement. Sadness at leaving an organisation where I’ve been working for over 9 years, and where I tend to consider most of my co-workers as “friends” rather than colleagues. Excited at moving to a job where I’ll still be able to keep an eye over the public sector (and continue to treat you to my opinions on it here), but where there will be a lot of new and exciting challenges to face me.
