- RT: @chickyog Where has your party stood on hounding the ‘benefit cheats’ -or asking us to grass them up? http://is.gd/CDoO #sackdorries in reply to chickyog #
- @krishgm so far as I’m aware, she’s remaining on as his wife. I believe the de-selection process, should it be required, is called ‘divorce’ in reply to krishgm #
- @pekingspring not comic geeky enough to help MYSELF, but age/condition/comic titles would help those who know better… in reply to pekingspring #
- @pekingspring have a glance at http://comicbookrealm.com although you’ll need to know at least some titles to get an idea. in reply to pekingspring #
- @pekingspring oh, and if you have any Preacher, buy them yourself. Excellent stuff. in reply to pekingspring #
- @tom_watson any form of bullying where a cyberman is either the bully or victim. They can apparently be very biased against Gallifreyans. in reply to tom_watson #
- @pekingspring be flexible in price though: unless you have collectors, you might not sell them at “collector” price… in reply to pekingspring #
- @stephenlang reminds me of that Jimmy Carr joke… in reply to stephenlang #
- @stephenlang “big woman comes up to me after show and says, I took offense at that material - you’re fattist. I said, no, you’re fattest”. in reply to stephenlang #
- Found another random re-tweeter, for the word which involves theism, and is an anagram of ‘dog’. What is the point of these re-tweeters? #
- Question: is it a coincidence that the mate whos kids I am taking mine to play with tomorrow afternoon will have the toon match on? #fb #
- @jamescousins well, that’s one half of the experiment confirmed. I wonder if ATS and “god_loves_us” will end up RTing each other…? in reply to jamescousins #
- Can I just say: “Volle Kraft voraus”. Ah, German industrial dance music. You still cannae whack it. #fb #
- @jiminthemorning damn! - as you’re on in shropshire, presumably, not tyneside. Dig out some Die Krupps while you’re on, that man… in reply to jiminthemorning #
- Chinese bridge ‘jumper’ pushed off by passer-by. There’s helping, and there’s HELPING … http://tinyurl.com/qcpa4b #
- Heard a review of #nightatthemuseum2 on #bbc #radio5 said it was patchy, collection of set pieces strung together. That was being polite. #
- @mikepickard @cole007 oh yeah, it’s fine for the kids. But it’s still not a patch on NATM 1 which actually WAS a good film. in reply to mikepickard #
- @FlossieTeacake made mistake deliberately watching once, under impression ‘cool and cultish’, now think ‘nauseating, self indulgent & wanky’ in reply to FlossieTeacake #
- To be fair about #NightAtTheMuseum2, while it was mostly fairly crap, Hank Azaria’s high camp role as baddie Kah Mun Rah was a great turn. #
- @atwossybookclub any chance of a web page showing which books are on reading list? #
- Try NHS Behind The Headlines for the real science behind the media kill or cure news stories. http://tinyurl.com/d74rcv HT @bengoldacre #
- Can’t be TOO disappointed at relegation when exactly what the team deserved. Complete overhaul needed, after years papering over cracks #fb #
- I’m sorry, but who exactly said Newcastle was “too big to go down”? The premiership relegation zone is not a sieve! #toon #relegation #
- For goodness sake, relegation is not the end of the bloody world. You’re getting it confused with swine flu. #toon #relegation #
- Don’t you open that trap door, you’re a fool if you dare, Stay away from that trap door, cos there’s Barnsley down there. #fb #

- @alncl well, at least Barnsley vs Newcastle will have a bit added spice next year in reply to alncl #
- @alncl was actually directed at a mate of mine* who had spent the last 5 years taking the piss (*the other barnsley fan) in reply to alncl #
- @pauloCanning because you like cats? in reply to pauloCanning #
- Think England might just sneak this one-dayer… #
- @jamescousins probably depends on what you’re doing with them. If you have one “councillor” and one “friends and family”, fine. in reply to jamescousins #
- @jamescousins alternatively, if you have “jim smith” as a second twitter account saying how great james cousins is, that’s a bit dodgy… in reply to jamescousins #
- @jamescousins There is also risk as elected official someone might interpret multiple accounts as dubious even if not intended as such. in reply to jamescousins #

- “God (Iehovah) is now following your updates on Twitter.” Beat that… #
- @bloggerheads hmm… you can’t touch this. in reply to bloggerheads #
- when @Iehovah quotes from bible shouldn’t he say “but I said you shall not eat of the fruit of the tree” rather than “but God said”? #
- As I have to say if @Iehovah is talking in the third person, I suspect He may not actually be an omnipotent deity after all… #

- Pupil at Eton tests positive for swine flu. What’s the odds it suddenly becomes a headline again? #
- @charltonbrooker besides, Jesus wouldn’t appear in marmite, as marmite is undoubtedly the work of the devil anyway. in reply to charltonbrooker #
- #ratemyteacher but why shouldn’t people be able to publicly criticise a poor teacher? No-one is forcing the teachers -or pupils - to look… #
- #ratemyteacher although I do agree any un-corroborated allegations (i.e. not opinions) should be removed v. quickly (eg. within 24 hours) #

- @stephenlang it’s more “b.g. a whole bunch of people desperate to appear on telly”. Namely piers morgan and the other two… in reply to stephenlang #
- @aaronbassett it’s easy. We’ll start you off with this: http://bit.ly/134YZ0 in reply to aaronbassett #
- Watching this #tourettes documentary. Is quite interesting. #
- @pauloCanning yeah, but I also want to shout something sweary. Which isn’t as a piss take, it’s just making me want to do it… in reply to pauloCanning #

- @stephenlang so are you saying if you have dodgy locks you can get free new ones if you fake burglary, in the interests of crime prevention? in reply to stephenlang #
- @pauloCanning “I rarely blow off, when I have it’s had a major impact”. Now surely THAT is a gay thing. *puerile snigger* in reply to pauloCanning #
- @pauloCanning sorry, I never did get past that schoolboy humour stage… in reply to pauloCanning #
- @alncl suggest you raise support call with twitter explaining situation? in reply to alncl #
- @alncl ah no, looks like the follow limit is not adjustable - based only on people following you. http://tinyurl.com/77oywy in reply to alncl #
- @alncl presumably follow limit is a ratio of followers/following - if more followers, can follow more back. worth pruning who you following? in reply to alncl #
- @alncl suggests it varies but is 1.1 to 1 at 2000 followers. http://tinyurl.com/7hwv7a Although that may be a guess.. in reply to alncl #

Paul,
not sure what you mean ‘what client’ - it’s all done through the wordpress plugin “twitter tools”, rather than a specific twitter client…
Next week Trial [2] will try it without the replies and see if that looks any better. Although to begin it will have a certain FA Cup flavour…

Ah. I thought you might be cut’n'pasting from a web client or something.
I’ll alert dave as dumping tweets tied to events is something he’s done to produce a useful spreadsheet - made more useful if you have a link to a Twitter status update I think.
